When I was in high school I was cut from the baseball team. I become extremely upset and didnt want to talk to anyone. I thought long and hard about why it happened and what I could do make it go away. I eventually realized that it was not going away and i had to move on with what i was doing. I had to find something else to do that made me as happy as baseball. I did by talking to my friends and playing lacrosse. I eventually went on to love lacrosse more than I ever really liked baseball. I realize now, looking back, that this terrible experience in my life was for something that brings me much more Joy. I was able to channel my inner Mental Ninja by moving past this very difficult period and starting something new.
